Mint Plant

Mint is the easiest and quickest herb you can grow. Its spear like fragrant foliage and small white flowers that appear during the warmer months attract pollinating bees. Mint prefers damp, partly shaded areas and once established will grow for many years.

It’s a fresh flavoured herb that has many uses – in hot or iced tea, chopped and sprinkled over salads, it makes a delicious addition to refreshing, cool summery drinks and is traditionally used mixed with vinegar and sugar to make mint sauce when cooking lamb.

Mint is a rampant grower, if not restrained it will take over a garden bed. It’s perfect for pots or smaller garden beds and plots.
